We welcome volunteers and work experience students from local schools and colleges. You can expect to get involved with helping our children to learn, creating resources and understand more about how an infant school works.
Mrs Al-Hadad is the Work Experience and Volunteer Co-ordinator. All volunteers and work experience students must undergo an induction prior to their placement. For work experience students this includes a young person’s risk assessment to ensure that health & safety needs are met whilst on placement at the school. Students should contact Mrs Al-Hadad to arrange an appointment for their induction.
All volunteers and work experience students must read the following documents to prepare for their placement before their induction appointment. This includes an induction quiz which can be found below:
You must sign in at reception. You will be given a visitor’s badge which you must wear at all times. When you leave for the day, you must sign out and return your badge.
You must not take pictures of children.
All absences will be reported to your educational establishment. Lateness will not be tolerated.
Unacceptable behaviour will result in you being asked to leave.
