We are so proud of Ayub who has taken part in the BBC 500 words writing stories challenge and received a certificate for his superb story.

The Puffin’s assembly took us back to a time long, long ago when there were Princesses, Wicked Fairies, Princes, Tall, Tall Towers, and Great Big Forests.
They delighted us with their retelling of the Princess who Lived Long, Long Ago and dazzled us with their dancing.
Well done Puffins!

It was a magical celebration of their creativity and teamwork.

On Thursday, our school enjoyed one of the most exciting and inspiring assemblies we’ve ever had. Nick from Our Rocket Kids captivated pupils and staff alike as he introduced us to the thrilling world of rockets, robots, and coding. Throughout the session, he shared an important message about the value of reading, teamwork, creativity, and determination — encouraging us not just to aim high, but to aim even higher.
Children had the chance to design and launch their own paper rockets, filling the hall with energy and enthusiasm. The assembly concluded with a spectacular whole-school rocket launch, where our rocket soared high into the sky to cheers from everyone watching.
It was a truly memorable experience that left us all feeling motivated, curious, and ready to reach for the stars.

The Turtles Class delighted everyone with an assembly all about learning, growing, and discovering their own strengths. They shared how, even though they may be little, they are truly mighty—showing confidence, curiosity, and a big love for learning. Through songs, role play, and reflections, the children celebrated how much they’ve learned and how they continue to grow each day. It was a joyful reminder that young learners can achieve amazing things.

Children and staff had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day yesterday! The children enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters and bringing their stories to life. 📚✨

Our Student Governors spent a joyful World Book Day sharing stories with our Reception children, filling classrooms with excitement, imagination, and plenty of smiles. The older pupils read aloud some of their favourite books, helping to spark a love of reading in our youngest learners. It was a wonderful celebration of stories and a lovely example of our school community coming together.

Reception delighted everyone with their Christmas assembly, inspired by The Grinch. Through lively singing, expressive dancing and confident acting, the children showcased the incredible progress they have made this term. Preparing for and performing the assembly supported key areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, and Expressive Arts and Design.
By learning lines, speaking clearly, collaborating with friends, and expressing themselves through music and movement, the children worked confidently towards the Early Learning Goals—developing self‑confidence, building effective communication skills, and exploring creativity. Their enthusiasm and growing independence shone throughout the performance, making it a wonderful celebration of their learning.

In 2ME we performed our class assembly this week where we told the story of the Rainbow Fish. It’s a story about a young fish who learns the importance of sharing and being kind, one of our school rules. The children acted, sang and dance as colourful sea creatures to bring the story to life, whilst sharing an important message about being kind.
