Uplands Infant School are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and committed Parent Governor to join our Governing Board. You will play an integral part in ensuring the best outcomes for our children, the best teaching and learning environment for our staff and children, and a school that parents love to bring their children to.
Requirements:
- Must have a child currently attending Uplands Infant School
- Must be available to attend 4 meetings every school year, these take place from 5pm to 6.30pm
- A willingness to attend additional events within our school and the other Trust schools
If you are interested in becoming a parent governor, you will need to write a short paragraph about why and what you can offer our school. Please include your full name and contact details and hand the letter into the school office by Friday 7th October.
If we have more than one letter of interest, a vote will be taken by the other school parents and a winner will be announced!
