Cheetah’s class have enjoyed designing their own posters for Ramadan!
Over the last few weeks we have been talking about Ramadan in our RE lessons. Children have been discussing what they know, reading books and watching videos of how what some people do during Ramadan. Although the children do not fast, we have been talking about things they can do to help others. For instance, Maysarah thought she could help at home by ‘Putting her toys away’.
Children have continued their learning during ‘choosing time’ by decorating prayer mats and talking about their experiences of Ramadan at home. They have made some beautifully vibrant choices. Awan choose to draw a house to put his prayer mat in!
Eid Ul Fitr
The children are very excited about celebrating Eid Ul Fitr tomorrow and have been showing their beautifully intricate and patterned mehndi.
