At Uplands Infant School, inclusion is the heart of our day-to-day practice. We value diversity and recognise the benefits to everyone in having an inclusive education. Inclusion is central to our school’s values and vision and every pupil is known, valued and supported to succeed, whatever their starting point.
We want our children to develop their unique talents and strive to improve and excel in all they do. We understand that with the right support from staff, parents and outside agencies, nothing is beyond the reach of our children.
All pupils are supported to access the full curriculum. Appropriate scaffolding and enrichment opportunities are provided to ensure inclusion and enable every learner to succeed. Provision is carefully adapted to meet individual needs through strategies such as differentiated resources, flexible teaching approaches, and targeted interventions.
