Year 1 had a wonderful time on their trip to Tropical Birdland this week! They started the day super excited for the journey and definitely had lots of fun looking out of the window and talking to their friends. When we arrived they were amazed to learn all about the different birds, where they are from and what they eat. They saw macaws, magpies, flamingos, parrots and some cute meerkats too. Lots of our children were so brave and managed to hold a few of the birds too. We finished off the day with lunch and a run around the playground area. We are so proud of how well our year 1 children represented the school and followed all the school rules whilst we were there! Well done Year 1 and a huge thank you to our parents who came along!
